About Us

Tongham Christian Fellowship is an independent body of Bible-believing Christians in the village of Tongham in West Surrey. It was formed from the amalgamation of Normandy Christian Fellowship and Tongham Evangelical Free Church. There is no paid ‘minister’, but a plurality of Elders, which we hold to be the biblical model. The church holds to the belief that God will fulfill His promises to the nation of Israel, and that the times spoken of by the Lord in Matthew 24 (the ‘great tribulation’ or ‘the time of Jacob’s trouble’) are rapidly coming upon us. The need to reach people with the gospel, the good news of Jesus, is therefore urgent.

The church has a mix of gentile and Jewish believers, and a mix of age groups. There is a Sunday School to teach the children and all children are welcome. Our church building in Tongham has been a place of Christian worship since 1929. It is undergoing refurbishment and development in order to meet the needs of the local congregation as well as the local population, to provide a place of teaching and outreach with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our web site contains resources for the local congregation, and for the wider church. You will find sermons and teaching resources, details of church activities, and links to recommended web sites. We hope you find it useful!
